Technical data
The industrial temperature transmitter is a precision instrument designed for continuous temperature monitoring in complex process engineering. The device uses a single Pt 1000 measuring element, which complies with DIN EN 60751. Class A, ensuring accurate temperature measurement in the range from -50 °C to 200 °C.
The temperature sensor is equipped with a robust probe with a diameter of 6 mm and an immersion depth of 100 mm. It is made of electropolished stainless steel 316L/1.4404 with a surface roughness of Ra < 0.8 μm, which ensures excellent hygiene and corrosion resistance. The connector with adapter (Ø 6 mm) ensures easy installation in various process engineering applications involving liquids and gases.
Works from a DC source of 18-32 V with a current consumption of less than 50 mA. The transmitter has an adjustable 4-20 mA analog output with a maximum load of 250 Ω (18-19 V) or 300 Ω (19-32 V). The IO-Link communication interface (COM2, 38.4 kbaud, version 1.1) provides advanced digital communication capabilities. With a minimum processing cycle time of 2.3 ms and support for the Smart Sensor profile. The device provides exceptional accuracy of ±0.3K + (±0.1% of full scale) with a resolution of 0.04K on the analog output and a temperature coefficient of 0.1% of span for a deviation of 10K from the nominal conditions of 25±5 °C.
Fast dynamic response time (T05 < 0.5 s and T09 < 2 s) allows rapid process monitoring. The cylindrical housing (Ø18.7 mm × 163.4 mm, 155.5 g) is designed for extreme industrial conditions and has an IP67, IP68 and IP69K protection rating. The sensor can withstand pressures up to 160 bar (16 MPa). Vacuum to -1000 mbar (-0.1 MPa), operating in ambient temperatures from -25 °C to 80 °C (limited to 60 °C at ambient temperatures around 200 °C). Reliability features include shock resistance up to 750 g (11 ms), vibration resistance of 10 g (10-2000 Hz) and an impressive MTTF rating of 232 years.
The device complies with stringent EMC standards (DIN EN 61000-6-2/3) and is UL approved (K002) with production certificates available for download. Factory calibration covers the range 0-200 °C with a 2 second delayed switchover and comprehensive protection. Including reverse polarity, short circuit and overload protection. The M12 A-coded connector provides a reliable electrical connection. Making this sensor ideal for pharmaceutical, food and general industrial applications where high accuracy and reliability are required.
