Description

Inductive proximity switches KIPPRIBOR LA series are sensors made in a cylindrical case, reacting to the approach of a metal object (object) to their sensitive part. The sensitive part of the inductive sensor KIPPRIBOR LA series is located at the end and protected by a plastic cap. The nominal response distance (Sn) of LA sensors depends on the modification and can be 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 15 mm.

The main features of the inductive sensors of the LA series include their ability to react exclusively to metal objects in the absence of mechanical contact with the object (i.e. at a distance). This feature allows the use of LA series sensors for monitoring intermediate or final positions of metal parts, units and mechanisms. The switching frequency of the inductive sensors KIPPRIBOR LA series is high enough, which allows them to be successfully used as primary speed sensors in combination with pulse counters and tachometers.

Inductive switches are most widely used as an alternative to mechanical limit switches. The absence of rubbing and moving parts in KIPPRIBOR LA series sensors, as well as their ability to contactlessly respond to an object, increases the service life of individual units and increases the reliability of the equipment.
